Hello friends! It’s been a while, but after all of the Art Basel buzz I needed a break! Anyway, Last month I attended an incredible, FREE concert at Bayfront Park featuring DJ Irie & Cris Cab and I’m pleased to announce it’s happening again!

TONIGHT is the newest installment of the Heineken sponsored DWNTWN Miami Concert Series and it’s featuring Jacob Jeffries Band & Allen Stone!

Haven’t heard of these guys? You will. Let me brief you.

Allen Stone is the January VH1 You Oughta Know Artist of the Month, a spotlight lots of successful artists get their big break with. Don’t let his hipster style fool you, this guy definitely brings some soul to the table with his meaningful and calculated vocals.

He’s performed on late night shows like Jimmy Kimmel Live and Last Call with Carson Daly. He’s also received positive reviews from Esquire, CNN, BIllboard, and USA Today. Watch one of my favorites below..

Also performing with Stone is local Jacob Jeffries Band. They’ve been dubbed as Buzzworthy by MTV! Check them out below & head over to Bayfront Park tonight at 7pm for 2 amazing live shows!

Brand New Cris Cab Video.

Hello friends! I’ve been waiting a while for this and the day has finally arrived! Cris Cab has released his latest video for ‘Good Girls (Don’t Grow On Trees)’ featuring Big Sean.

Big Sean has recently collaborated with the Biebs and other big names so this is pretty huge for Cris. ‘Good Girls’ was written by Cris along with Pharell and produced by his mentor, Wyclef Jean & Sedeck Jean. Check it out. The video was shot in California and is pretty awesome.

Cris also just announced his North American tour dates for the Rise Tour, in support of his upcoming EP, RISE, available in October. I’m so bummed he won’t be playing in his HOMETOWN but I definitely wanna check him out again. Orlando road trip anyone??

Could This Be The Next One Direction Hit?

Attention all One Direction fans! You must check out the song a very talented friend of mine submitted to One Direction in hopes that they’ll include it in their upcoming album.

I gotta admit, I’m not exactly a One Direction fan and I didn’t even know who they were until recently because quite honestly, I don’t hang out with 10-year-olds and I stopped following boy bands the minute Justin went solo. I am however, a big fan of Richard Mason, not only because he is like family but because Simon Cowell called him a musical genius -true story.

Take a listen to the song he co-wrote with Maret Escarment. The video has already gotten tons of attention from One Direction fan girls and has over 100,000 views! Whether you’re a 1D fan or not, check it out. I’m already obsessed. Would you wanna hear this on One Direction’s new album??

As I’m sure most of you know, 99.9 % of my posts on Justin Bieber sole purpose is to make fun of him. So as much as it pains me to say that I’m actually diggin’ his new single, I totally am.

I first heard about it over a week ago & I tried, I really tried so hard not to even listen to it. The other night, on my way home from work however, I fell into the Bieber trap. It was playing on Y100 & the Pharell type beats & sneaky Justin Timberlake-esque voice really got me. As soon as the song was over I switched over to Power96, & there it was again.

I can’t deny it anymore. Like a good friend of mine always says, I guess it’s just a game of probability. It was only a matter of time before I caught the Bieber Fever.

Check out his latest single ‘Boyfriend’ off his fourth album Believe. It’s co-written & co-produced by Mike Posner which is no wonder why it’s so hot & so un-bieberish. Smart move Justin. A video for the song is already in the works. For now, just listen to it below.

& while you’re at it check out my former Artist Pick of the Week Drew Tabor do her version of the song. She’s awesome!

Call me a perv, but I expected a LOT more from Usher’s video for his latest single ‘Climax’.

Being one of the sexiest songs he’s had out since possibly ‘Hey Daddy’, I was expecting scandalous actions. Where was the sex? Where was the lust? You didn’t even take your shirt off! There was nothing Ursher! You gave us nothing & I am highly dissapointed. This was no “climax” it was just a tease.

Check it out for yourself & let me know what you think!

When it comes to angry girl anthems Katy Perry, Adele, & Kelly Clarkson have pretty much covered all scenarios. But you can never really have enough angry girl anthems, and for this reason I introduce to you Neon Hitch.

I first caught on to her amazing voice on the most recent Gym Class Heroes single, ‘Ass Back Home’, but just the other day I discovered Neon Hitch has a lot more under her belt than I thought. She has a ton of YouTube covers where she completely makes some of my favorite songs in to her own & she even has a few originals too.

Her latest single ‘Fu*k You Betta’ is super hot & although obviously an angry song, it makes you wanna dance, which in turn makes you feel happy! Right? Right.

So check out the song below & while you’re at it watch the video with Gym Class Heroes too. I’m still obsessed with that song!

RHCP New Music.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers might have delayed their much-anticipated American Tour but at least they’re giving us something to enjoy in the mean time. Check out their latest video off their I’m With You album for ‘Look Around’.

It sorts reminds me of Destiny’s Child’s ‘Say My Name’ video if it would have featured Flea dancing around in his underwear with a blue haired girl lol. Check it out below!

I’ve been a fan of Big Sean since I made him my Artist of the Week months ago & if you never read that post you need to check out here.

His latest single off his Finally Famous album is ‘Dance’, a song that should probably be titled ‘Ass’ because he says it about a million times & spells the word in about seven different languages. So if you love ass, have an ass, or would like to buy a new ass you should watch his latest video. After all, Nicki Minaj shakes her ass all over it & that is always a site to see.

The song will definitely make you want to “dance” though. Check it out! There’s also something very Fresh Prince of Bel-Airesque about it.

“It’s like screaming and no one can hear. You almost feel ashamed that someone can be that important, that without them you feel like nothing.  No one will ever understand how much it hurts. You feel hopeless, like nothing can save you and when it’s over and its gone you almost wish that you can have all that bad stuff back so you can have the good.”

That’s what Rihanna’s brand new video for ‘We Found Love’ starts off with. A video that many fans are already buzzing about. At first I had to disagree, I didn’t think this guy looked anything like Chris Brown. But the more I watch it, the more I can’t deny the uncanny resemblance of her love interest to that of her infamous ex-boyfriend. Although I don’t believe the video is all about him, you can’t ignore the fact that the entire relationship greatly impacted Rihanna & this video most liked was inspired by that.

The entire video is so magnetic. Whether you’ve been in a situation as dramatic & self-destructive as the one portrayed in her new Requiem For A Dream-ish video or not, I think many people can relate. Love is a drug & this one definitely wins my vote for best video of the year. Rihanna & genius director Melina Matsoukas did an amazing job at delivering this intense love story. Check it out below!

Sexy time? Then you’re gonna want some Abel Tesfaye in your life. The mystery man better known to some as The Weeknd can turn any situation into a sexy one with his soulful voice and seductive beats. It only takes is a few seconds before he’s got your attention and soon enough his sound will catch on with the rest of the world.

The 20-year-old from Ontario may be young, but he’s here to prove that Canada has more to offer than just Celine Dion & Drake –who by the way is his mentor (Drake..not Celine in case you were confused).

The Weeknd released his first mix-tape House of Balloons in March of this year and later released Thursday in August. The last mix-tape of the trilogy, Echoes of Silence is set to come out this Fall –possibly October 24th according to his last tweet. Follow him if you tweet @theweekndxo

Check him out for yourself & let me know what you think! I couldn’t just pick one video. They’re all so good!
